Storm Bringer

Genre: angst
Character: Sirius

Storm Bringer

You are a storm bringer
A story-teller
A dream catcher
You never remember

You only learnt the meaning of pain
On the night you stared at them in vain
Two pale bodies on the floor
Taught you the meaning of war

Of your love, nothing remains
The wind’s howling in your veins
Blowing freely in your heart
It has been broken apart

You are a storm bringer
A part-time love seller
A child, a trouble-maker
You never remember

Through life you laugh your way
You chase the night away
And you never look back
Never stop in your track

Not before it’s much too late
Not before you’re caught by fate
You are a storm bringer
You never remember

Death of a Fairy-tale

Characters: Tonks, Bellatrix
Genres: drama, angst
Summary: Tonks and Remus's death.

Death Of a Fairy-Tale

When her closed eyes
Are trying to see through the pain
Her loved one dies
On her heart love has ceased to reign

And Tonks wants vengeance, quick
To have blood on her hands, thick
And dirty, wash out the lies
So she draws her wand and cries

It is time for Bellatrix’s demise
For her there’ll be no tearful goodbyes
Identical dark eyes meet
In which their hatreds compete

Bella laughs: suddenly
Tonks is hit by a jet of green light
And she falls gracefully
Alas, her fairy-tale died tonight

I Cannot Describe You

Pairing: Sirius/OC. I started this poem thinking it was Venus speaking but then they break up so I don't know... just imagine whatever flows your boat!
Genre: romance/angst
Summary: An attempt at a description of Sirius by a girl who loved him.
Note: Giving back to Dylan what is his The following lines were taken from his beautiful song Don't Think Twice It's All Right and adapted for my poem: I gave her my heart, but she wanted my soul and I wish there was something you would do or say, To try and make me change my mind and stay, But we never did too much talking anyway
Disclaimer: Sirius is JK Rowling's.

Sirius, I cannot describe you
No word I say can be true
The stars are not bright enough
And the blazing sun too tough

The storm in your grey eyes
The devil in disguise
The slight smirk on your face
The strength in your embrace

Though many times you led me astray
I wish there was something you would say
Try and make me change my mind and stay
But we never talked much anyway

What was your goal?
Why tear us apart?
I gave you my heart
But you wanted my soul

I cannot describe you
Do you want to know why?
No matter what you do
Like a free bird you fly

Tomorrow

Pairing: Eowyn/Faramir
Genre: romance

Tomorrow

Today my soul to you I sold
For you love me, I have been told
Your long hair made out of gold
In my hands, yesterday so cold

I wish you would be more careless
I wish I could ease your distress
Though your will and courage impress
More than I could ever confess

Tomorrow is another day
Tomorrow you shall be so gay
And you might even lead me astray
With your eyes of a sparkling grey

Dreams of love and black starry skies
At last, let us watch the sun rise
Tomorrow I might not feel wise
Angel or devil in disguise?

Tomorrow the bright sun will shine
On this new day you will be mine
Fair and pale and always divine
Oh, to send shivers down your spine

Tomorrow, a breathtaking sight
We will no longer need to fight
And happily we shall live, White
Lady, my everlasting light

Tomorrow, that twinkle in your eye
Tomorrow, when the end shall draw nigh
Your smile, happy and true, not so wry
Listen, love, for us the stars will sigh

Soulmates Never Die

Genre: romance/angst
Pairing: Sirius/Venus (my OC)
Note: Venusta Vance can be found in several of my fanfictions, such as April Madness and Here With Me

Soulmates never die

You are not gone
Life will go on
You are still there
Because I care

And I can hear you laugh
As I am torn in half
And I can see you smile
Give me a little while

Just to hold you tight
Just to touch your face
The stars are so bright
They mock your disgrace

Don’t you dare leaving me, Black
You didn’t even look back
As you fell like a hero, freely,
Stupid hero that I loved dearly

Where have they gone, the fairy-tales?
When you believe in love it fails
Come on, tell me you’ve not passed by
Don’t you know, soulmates never die

Healing Hearts

Pairing: Eowyn/Faramir
Genre: romance
Summary: Eowyn & Faramir in the Houses of Healing.
Note: my first ever Eowyn/Faramir poem. Inspired by Tolkien's line 'and so they stood... [...] and their hair, raven and golden, streamed out mingling in the air.'

Healing Hearts

And so they stood hand in hand
Looking past the deserted land
Though their eyes did not meet
He said "You look cold, my sweet."
He admired Eowyn's pale grace
As she smiled in his embrace

And a great wind rose and blew
"You have healed my heart, lord,"
She whispered, "and I thank you."
And Faramir's own heart soared
As their hair, raven and fair
Danced and mingled in the air

No Direction Home

Disclaimer: Several lines were taken from Bob Dylan's song Like a Rolling Stone and I altered them a bit. I don't own them.
Character: Sirius
Genre: angst

No Direction Home

Dear hero, how does it feel?
To be on your own
To be without a home
Like a rolling stone

Your heart it cannot heal
And your mind is a mess
You expected no less
From them and their distress

So, how does it feel?
To be a complete unknown
With no direction home
Like a rolling stone

Now your heart is pure steel
No remorse, no hate, no pain
As you walk into the rain
Drenched but free from your chain

Go to him now he calls you,
You know you can’t refuse
When you’ve got nothing
You’ve got nothing to lose

Everything you’ve ever known
Is shattered, broken and torn
Running with no direction home
Like a rolling stone
